new? Yes it is definitely!
My
eyes were first attracted by the colors on the display as my sister drags me
inside Pan De Manila in Metropoint but I never thought they will ever offer doughnut
in the menu. Okay, I’ve known the store for selling various breads and pastry
and got to admit I love their hot pandesal and pastries and filled bread plus
the spreads.
My
craving for something sweet is bad for real and seeing the doughnut in the
shelf makes it worst. Browsing through the selections, I can say they stick
with using local sweets as fillings and/or flavor which leads to the cute name
of each doughnut.
We
decided to taste the dulce de leche to avoid ruining our lunch. The bread is the
still the same, baked soft like pandesal which makes it yummy to munch on. However
the fillings are few that only some part of the doughnut has enough filling
when eaten. For the price of PHP38, it is worth a try but find it a bit
expensive.
