A Sweet Morning Treat

Starting the day with a hot cup of cappuccino and some iced gems on a hot Thursday morning.

The iced gem reminds me so much of my child hood days. I will eat the biscuits first and left the well-made icing on the bag and eat them all in one go to enjoy its sweet and crunchy taste. Lot’s of fun right?

Let’s say this is one of my fave snacks and school baon. And thanks Matet for the treat!

Just A Rant to Wellcome

Call this a rant but it’s getting disturbing how baggers pack goods bought at the store. 

Edible goods should be pack separately from non-edible goods thus most groceries provide small bags for this. Luckily, it’s only milk and sanitary napkin that I bought though it is not an excuse that it’s almost closing time when I went there and the cashier put the goods in the bag. Mind that there are only few people in line paying whatever they got.

However this is not the first time this happened when I bought stuff from Wellcome, Metropint branch.  Last time I went to buy groceries, it is mix of various chips, soap and some conditioner yet all was fitted in a bag and handed to me. By the time I got home, the smell of the soap is already passed on the bag of chips I bought which is really not good.

It makes me wonder how Wellcome allow few people at the cashier in the evening where most people are rushing to buy few items; thus the cashier personnel will also be the one to pack goods to the bag after the transaction is made. Hope they will do something about this.

Trying Regent's Matcha Milk Corn Snack

A random trip to the grocery is quite bad for me as I always ended buying random stuff I found interesting thus I buying more than what I really intended to buy. But today seems to be quite a good one with this Matcha Milk corn snacks from Regent.

First, my liking for matcha green tea started when I tried the hot drink from Angel N’ Kiss Bakery that my sister finds weird.  On the other hand, Regent made one of my fave junk food which is Cheese Ring. So I end sneaking some packs of this in our basket.

 

 

Once opened, there’s this nice smell of milk and matcha mixed it. Also the content is fluffy to be eaten and bigger than the other corn snacks Regent have. However the snack is more on the sweet milky taste that it overpowers a bit the taste of the matcha. Yet sill I don’t mind its’s sweet taste that I will buy a few more of this snack. But beware for those on cutting sweets.

Today’s Quick Fix

Grabbing my morning dose of mochaccino with Sunflower Crackers in strawberry flavor and Koko chocolate snacks.

My BTOB Haul Today

Waking up excited earlier today to finally meet Lei (@leihoonie), a fellow melody, for a short meeting and to get the BTOB goods from her at last! Lucky she is not yet mad at me for keeping the albums and photobook for quite a long time (particularly the Move album) and postponement of the last meet up we set.
